Northeastern Terrane

310 Gnbh/ Biotite-hornblende gneiss: Biotite-hornblende gneiss and hornblende gneiss containing garnet in places.  Thin layers of sillimanite-garnet-biotite gneiss, amphibolite and pyroxene-granulite are intercalated.

330 Gnb/ Garnet-biotite gneiss: Garnet-biotite gneiss intercalating thin layers of orthopyroxene-cordierite-garnet gneiss

350 Ch/ Charnockite: Orthopyroxene quartz feldspathic gneiss (charnockite and enderbite), generally containing hornblende and biotite with or without garnet or clinopyroxene.

Southwestern Terrane

410 Gnbh/ Biotite-hornblende gneiss: Hornblende gneiss and hornblende gneiss, containing garnet in places.  Thin layers of garnet-biotite gneiss and amphibolite are intercalated.

420 Gnb/ Biotite gneiss: Biotite gneiss, containing garnet and staurolite in places.
